Stampede is coming!! How wonderful hey! Square shirts, hats, blue jeans and boots are what you are going to see within the next marvelous days.
I really like Calgary Stampede; what’s more, this year is going to be my second time witnessing (within the entire crowd) the stampede parade. I’ve heard rumors that several people dislike the Stampede period. They say so because either they don’t like the cowboy fashion style, or they simply don’t like to have a whole week full of fun activities. “Fun activities” meaning… drinking, hanging out until midnight and behaving like a crazy cowboy… Yahooo!! So anyway, in my case I wish I could have more ‘fun’ during the Stampede, but!, there is always a ‘but’, since I’m still studying in the EAP and I have to deliver tons of homework due to the time of the ‘Stampede week’, and study very hard, deep and complex in order to get A+’s in my Writing class, I will not be able to attend many of the temptable, unforgettable, magnificent and terrific shows that are carried out during the Stampede. However, I can’t miss the parade! Yahooo!!!
So hopefully I will see you there pretending to be an international cowboy-student.
P.s. Remember to wear sunblock, otherwise you will get more than a nice suntan, you will burn all your white and beautiful skin, or if you have already dark skin, you will probably be darker!!! So be careful,,, take care of your nice and soft skin!
